Online Application Procedure
Ø Go to the college website (www.maynaguricollege.org.in)
Ø Click on the Online Admission Portal
Ø Click on Apply online and fill the Initial Information Form to generate an Application ID
(Note : Mobile number is MANDATORY for further Communication and to generate the login OTP for login in Student’s Corner.)
Ø After getting the Application ID Click on Next to continue and you can also go through Student’s Corner.
Ø Once you will click on next fill in the columns on Initial Information, Higher Secondary(10+2) Details and HS Subjects Marks, Preferred Honours Courses, Preferred General Courses.
Ø Next enter your Communication Details.
Ø Next Click on Continue for Mandatory Preview. Carefully check all the details entered by you while filling up the form and Proceed For Payment
Note : An applicant willing to opt for Physical Education as a subject for General Course, has to select Physical Education as a subject combination under Select Your Preferred General Courses, failing which the applicant’s name would not be considered for the provisional merit list of Physical Education. All applicants who have applied for Physical Education as a subject in General Course will have to appear at the college for a Field Test & an Interview, the date and the time of which shall be listed in the college website under the section named Notice Board in due time.)
Instructions for Applicants to deposit Online Application Fees:
Ø You will be directed to the page where in you can deposit the Application Fees in your own preferred mode of payment like Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/CASH. These options are available for all Banks across India. You can also deposit your Application Fees through SBI Bank Challan across all SBI branches in India.
Ø All applicants are requested to carefully preserve the payment receipt for future correspondence.
N.B. : Applicants can print their final Application Forms only after two working days from the date on which the Application Fees was deposited. Final Application Forms can be downloaded and printed by the applicants from the Students Area section of the Online Admission portal of Maynaguri College.
E-councelling Procedure
Ø Once the merit lists are published online, the candidates should note their ranks. Thereafter the candidates should wait until the e-councelling lists of their preferred subjects are published. If his/her name is included in the e-councelling lists, he/she should deposit the requisite admission fees through the link (Login) given against his/her name in the website.
Ø Pay your Online Admission Fees by clicking on the link (Online Payment For Admission Fees)
Ø You will be directed to the page where in you can deposit the Online Admission Fees in your own preferred mode of payment like Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/CASH. These options are available for all Banks across India. You can also deposit your Application Fees through SBI Bank Challan across all SBI branches in India.
Ø All candidates should carefully preserve the payment receipt for future correspondence.
Ø Physical attendance for verification of testimonials on stipulated dates (after making payment) is mandatory otherwise his/ her candidature will be cancelled.
Ø The Candidate himself/ herself must be present during physical verification.
Ø The Candidate has to submit cancellation certificate at the time of physical verification, if he/ she was already admitted in another college.
Important Notes with regard to Online Admission Process
This Online Admission Portal is meant for the serious applicants who are willing to seek admission in Maynaguri College for B.A. / B.Sc. Part – I Honours/ General for the ensuing session.
· This application is meant for provisional admission subject to approval of University of North Bengal.
· It is assumed that the information furnished in this application is true to the best of the knowledge of the applicant. In case of any false/ misleading information, the application will be summarily rejected.
· It is also assumed that the applicant is applying voluntarily on his/ her own discretion without being influenced by any third party. The College Authority will never entertain any claim regarding this.
· Applicants willing to seek admission must commit to follow the rules and regulations of the college and the University of North Bengal, which may be amended in due course of time.
· Application does not confirm Admission.
· In case of Admission, the decision of the Admission Committee/ College Authority will be deemed to be final and no queries or requests will be entertained on the part of the candidates.
· The college authority reserves the rights of admission/ rejection of any applicant/ candidate irrespective of the caste/ creed/ gender/ financial & social status without assigning any reason whatsoever.
· If a student newly admitted to the first semester remains absent from attending classes for more than the first 15 days continuously without any intimation, her/his admission will stand cancelled.
· In case of fraudulent activities/ misconduct observed even at a later stage, the candidate/ student may be debarred from the college at the sole discretion of the College Authority.
· Any attempt to intrude into the admission process is subject to punishment as per laws.
· No candidate shall engage in ragging in any form. If found guilty of ragging, stringent penal action will be taken by the college against the concerned student/students. It is mandatory for all candidates to submit an Anti-ragging Undertaking during the verification process during Admission. The Anti-ragging Undertaking can be accessed here (Candidates can also generate his/her Anti-ragging Undertaking online through UGC’s Anti ragging website and submit the printout during the verification process).
